Ladies leather ankle boots are a hugely popular must-have accessory.
From celebrities to runway models to Mary-Jo Housewife, ankle length leather boots are a wardrobe basic that all of us can look great in! You’ll see them on the red carpets and on the walkways and even at the grocery store, and you’ll love them.
Many times we, the average girls, will see fashion trends and avoid them because we’re just not sure how to pull off “that look.”
Well, fear no more!
If you want to wear your ladies leather ankle boots with a short dress:
Flatter your body type. You want your legs to appear long, not short and stubby.
Choose a short dress that skims rather than hugs the body. The more leg showing, the longer the leg will look but, the tighter the dress, the more off balance the body will look.
Wearing your ankle boots with tights, jeans or pants:
Wear your ladies leather ankle boots with tights in a similar color to the boot to lengthen the leg and give visual height. Skinny jeans or leggings should also be in the same or near same color as the ankle boot. This will avoid a break in the look of the leg and will allow it to seem like a more continuous line. Wear the jean in the boot if possible but not if it will bunch up because that is not attractive. Wear it outside of the boot if necessary.
Try to keep your outfit monotone, monochromatic. Add a pop of color with some bright leather gloves or a patterned scarf.
When getting dressed and slipping on your ankle length leather boots remember this: Keep it simple and keep it balanced.
You don’t want to be bottom heavy or top heavy. You want a little touch of edgy and a little touch of style; not a big bulls eye on your feet. Blend them in to enhance your outfit not shock it!
